Dan Mudds journey by The Voice of Germany 2023

The bearded musician from Italy/Switzerland impresses with his rough voice – goosebumps are inevitable!

It was in 2019 when Dominik Liechti discovered Dan Mudd – as a street musician in the Swiss capital Bern. “This musician attracted a huge crowd!” recalls Liechti. And he too couldn’t escape the man with the unique voice: “It magically attracted me!” From then on, the music fairy tale began with Dan Mudd and bearbeat: together they survived the pandemic and played hundreds of concerts.

When the two wanted to change something in 2022, they registered for all sorts of challenges, contests and castings – with success! Winning the Swiss Blues Challenge opens the way to participation in the International Blues Challenge in Memphis and the European Blues Challenge in Portugal. He was also invited to the World Street Music Championships in South Korea. The biggest highlight in 2023, however, is the TV stage of The Voice of Germany, season 13. Here Dan has an audience of millions in front of him for the first time.

The spotlights are in position, the coaches are ready – the spectators become quiet and eagerly await the next performance. Dan Mudd takes the stage and showed the coaches his outstanding talent!
